How it works

1. Enter yourself, or nominate a teacher you're thankful for.

2. Enter as often as you like and nominate as many teachers as you want. Every entry counts.

3. We draw one winner at random on December 1 and contact them directly.

What you win

A free field trip to Blue Zoo Spokane for the winning teacher's class, covering up to 30 students and 3 chaperones (about a $485 value).

A guided, hands-on tour of sea life from around the world, with stingray and reptile feedings.

Water cycle and science tables, the pirate ship play area, and the party room for lunch.

All-day admission and a come-back pass for every student.

OFFICIAL RULES: No purchase necessary. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Open to current educators age 18 and up in the Spokane area, including classroom teachers, homeschool teachers, and preschool and daycare educators. Blue Zoo employees and their immediate families are not eligible. Anyone 18 or older may nominate a teacher, but only the teacher is eligible to win.

Entry period: November 1, 2026, 12:00 AM Pacific through November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific. Enter by completing the form on this page for yourself or to nominate a teacher. There is no limit on entries or nominations; each submission counts as one entry. A "Both" entry counts as one entry for you and one entry for the teacher you nominate.
